Dr. Amanda is a Richmond native, and graduated from VCU/MCV with her doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2014. She began her career in orthopedics and sports, treating in the clinic as well as volunteering in running groups in the community. Amanda has extensive knowledge in running gait analysis and retraining, and became a Board Certified Sports Clinical Specialist in 2021. She underwent her own pelvic health physical therapy experience, and felt inspired to begin treating in the field. Now, Amanda enjoys practicing combining her passion for orthopedic, sports and pelvic health. Amanda has pelvic floor training through the Herman & Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute. She is progressing her training in pregnancy and postpartum, and looks forward to continuing to pursue advanced courses in pelvic health.

Amanda believes in treating holistically with an emphasis in manual therapy, dry needling, fascial mobilization, and exercise training that is specific to the client’s goals. She believes that being able to work 1:1 with her clients enables her to truly identify the root cause of their discomfort, and enables her to treat the whole person. She enjoys connecting with her clients along their healing journeys, and helping them return to their daily lives feeling empowered and confident.

Outside of the clinic, Amanda enjoys running, cooking, traveling, and spending time with her husband, friends and family, including her beloved Bernese Mountain dog

My passion for massage started a decade ago working in management for a spa. I developed a special interest for the birth year after becoming a mom to my two young children. Now with two years of experience I am ready to expand my care and support to birthing people. Outside of being a mom and a massage therapist, I am an animal lover and have a passion for the great outdoors.

Carly Moenich, LMT, is a long time Richmond resident and she recently made the leap from Hair Stylist to Massage Therapist.

Her dream of becoming a Massage Therapist became a reality in 2023 when she attended school at Lotus Professional College. She recently became a mother and it inspired her to pursue prenatal and postnatal work as a specialty. She believes in the power of healing through touch and bodywork. She learned first hand, being pregnant through massage school, what an integral part of overall health and massage is.

When she’s not practicing bodywork she is spending time with her baby, Wren, her partner, Harrison, and their pets. She loves yoga, traveling, coffee and vegan food!

She is passionate about continuing education and recently became a Certified Instructor of Infant Massage.

Carly wants to provide a space for folks to feel safe and comfortable while caring for their bodies and taking time for self care and to feel their best. She has spent much of her career as a hair stylist working to provide a safe space for LGBTQIA+ folks to feel safe and included and will provide the same space as a massage therapist.

Carly’s favorite aspect of massage therapy is the ability to promote healing, mentally and physically, through touch.
