This treatment speeds up the healing process of the scar, decreases pain in the connective tissue and helps to relax and fade scar tissue. You will notice a significant visual change in the scar, as well as to touch, during your first appointment.
Jenna Ahlin, Physical Therapist
Dr. Jenna, a Richmond native, earned her Bachelor of Science in Human Nutrition, Foods, and Exercise from Virginia Tech. She went on to complete her Doctorate of Physical Therapy at Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU).
With a deep passion for pelvic health, orthopedics, and sports medicine, Dr. Jenna specializes in treating bowel and bladder conditions, supporting female athletes, and addressing pregnancy, postpartum, and sexual dysfunction concerns. She takes a holistic approach to her patient care by combining manual therapy, exercise, dry needling, lifestyle modifications, and education to maximize patients well-being.
Outside of work, Dr. Jenna enjoys weightlifting, running, playing pickleball, reading, cooking, traveling, and exploring new restaurants with her husband.

Emily Driscoll, Physical Therapist
Dr. Emily Driscoll is a Board Certified Women’s Health Specialist, Pregnancy & Postpartum Corrective Exercise Specialist, and Pelvic Floor Physical Therapist. Dr. Emily treats all genders with pelvic health and/or orthopedic concerns. She has a special interest in treating chronic pelvic pain, dry needling for orthopedics or pelvic health, sexual dysfunction, chronic prostatitis, vulvodynia, endometriosis, PCOS, gender-affirming complications, and interstitial cystitis. Amanda Garnett, Physical Therapist
Dr. Amanda is a Richmond native, and graduated from VCU/MCV with her doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2014. She began her career in orthopedics and sports, treating in the clinic as well as volunteering in running groups in the community. Amanda has extensive knowledge in running gait analysis and retraining, and became a Board Certified Sports Clinical Specialist in 2021. She underwent her own pelvic health physical therapy experience, and felt inspired to begin treating in the field. Now, Amanda enjoys practicing combining her passion for orthopedic, sports and pelvic health. Amanda has pelvic floor training through the Herman & Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute. She is progressing her training in pregnancy and postpartum, and looks forward to continuing to pursue advanced courses in pelvic health.
Amanda believes in treating holistically with an emphasis in manual therapy, dry needling, fascial mobilization, and exercise training that is specific to the client’s goals. She believes that being able to work 1:1 with her clients enables her to truly identify the root cause of their discomfort, and enables her to treat the whole person. She enjoys connecting with her clients along their healing journeys, and helping them return to their daily lives feeling empowered and confident.

Katherine Hogg, Massage Therapist
Katie Hogg is a licensed massage therapist and movement educator with roots in dance and a deep reverence for the body’s innate intelligence. Her approach blends evidence-based bodywork, breathwork, and movement philosophy with intuitive, compassionate care. She believes healing happens through collaboration, curiosity, and awareness—meeting each person exactly where they are. Drawing from years of experience supporting athletes, prenatal and postnatal clients, and those recovering from injury or imbalance, Katie creates a space where clients can reconnect with their bodies, restore mobility, and move with greater ease and intention. Casey Pherson, Physical Therapist
Dr Casey earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Emory & Henry College. Prior to attending PT school, Casey earned a Master’s Degree in Applied Linguistics with a specialization in Sociolinguistics from Old Dominion University and a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Mary Washington. Casey began practicing in Asheville North Carolina, where she worked for several years before moving home to Richmond.
Casey specializes in the treatment of patients with musculoskeletal and neuromuscular disorders of various ages, particularly the treatment of overhead athletes and runners. She utilizes the use of high-velocity, low-amplitude manipulations for back and neck-related conditions as well as the incorporation of dry needling. Casey has also earned an advanced certificate in the treatment of vestibular diagnoses and concussion care. Her professional interests include orthopedics, neurologic, vestibular, amputee care, injury prevention, return to sport, and return to work.
Fun fact: After playing for the University of Mary Washington, Casey played professional softball in Sweden leading her team to a Swedish National Championship and an appearance at EuroCup in Haarlem, The Netherlands. In her spare time, she enjoys distance running and spending time with her family.
